West Stanly School of the Bible
The West Stanly School of the Bible is an education program which helps believers to expand their understanding of the Bible and to be prepared for ministry in the local church. The school is designed for lay people and lay workers in the church. This includes deacons, Sunday School teachers, youth and children’s workers, Bible study leaders, and many others who simply desire to deepen their Bible knowledge and enhance their ability to serve the Lord.

The Fall 2025 semester begins Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 6:30pm.
We meet in the Fellowship Hall of Friendship Baptist Church.

6:30-7:10 p.m. – Old Testament Survey I
A survey of the Books of Law (Genesis through Deuteronomy) and the Historical Books (Joshua through Esther) of the Old Testament
7:15-7:55 p.m. – Basic Bible Doctrine I
Bible answers are given to commonly asked questions concerning the Christian faith
8:00-8:40 p.m. – Personal Evangelism
Students are taught how to use their personal testimony in witnessing and how to present the gospel clearly
Enrollment is open to men and women of all ages and also to high school Juniors and Seniors. No academic prerequisites are in effect.
Complete all twelve courses and earn a Biblical Studies Certificate! Graduates of the West Stanly School of the Bible may participate in the commencement exercises of The Crown College in Powell, TN.
Classes are affordably priced at $30 per class or $75 for all three classes offered each semester. This cost includes a beautifully prepared Student Notebook for each course. An additional one-time fee is due when students participate in the commencement exercises after completing all twelve classes.
